The time all book collectors fear has come for me. I'm moving. I have over a thousand books and over the next few videos I'm going to be sorting, culling, packing, moving, and unpacking them. 

By the time I'm sitting to edit and post this video, I've actually already moved them! I've not unpacked a single thing so they're all still in boxes, but I'm at least through the worst of the process. 

Part of procrastinating the edit also means that I'm doing this on my laptop without my usual audio and colorgrading settings, so bear with me on these before I get back to normal. Here goes nothing...

During this phase, we're reviewing manuscripts and deciding which book we want to publish. At the end of this phase, we offer an author a book deal.

Consideration

As the manuscript goes through several phases of editorial work, the cover and interior design takes place, while format decisions about paper stocks and printing treatments are made.

Editorial & Design

While the books are on press, the pre-order links go live and the marketing campaign ramps up with waves of review copy mailings to media and influencers.
